For eight great years, Bo & I woke up New Orleans.  Everyone always thought we were married.  We bickered, fought and teased each other like a married couple.  So, are Bo and Beth married?  Yes, they are.  But not to each other! 

We didn’t belong together – Bo loves people, parties, motorcycles and bathroom humor. I'm a soccer Mom, who’d rather stay at home and drink pink wine from a box.  But amazingly, we connected with each other and people all over the metro area.  Listeners say they thought of us as their friends – along for the morning commute, and that's how we felt about them too.  On the Causeway, in the carpool line or on the I-10 – we did our best to entertain and inform -- and play some music too.. 

The names of the radio stations changed a few times, from Lite to Star to Zone and back to Lite again, and the dial position changed once too – but Bo and I stayed as a constant.  We were always proud to be the radio program you could listen to (and enjoy) with your kids in the car.   No one had to tell us to be "family friendly", we were - right from the start. 

In September of 2004 our contracts were not renewed by the radio station.  For me - it marked the end of my morning radio career.  Working with Bo and talking to all our listeners was great fun -- but the cookie cutter world of corporate radio isn't something I need in my life.  I've become a full time voice over talent and a part-time copywriter for the great people at Innovative Advertising.  Bo is now back on the air at 99.5 FM - The New 995fm.com -- 5 to 8AM with Rob Couhig and then again in the afternoons from 5 to 7PM solo.  Call him on-air at  (504) 260-0995, or toll-free at 1-877-585-0995 - I know he'd love to hear from you.
